I can understand why Lorku has kept his relations with the Bin-Kallic so secret. Arranging marriages between the clans is one thing, but to marry his own mother off, not to one of their people, but to this mysterious Milcomm is another. Degana would have us wipe them out wholesale, and on some level I think Aldirg would do the same, were his own family not so deeply intertwined with them. But this creature Milcomm is an unknown, to claim that such a being is Kallic in any way is to stretch the ties of kinship to unbelievable lengths.
The Bin-Kallic are obviously ecstatic about the union, the attention of their women has grown to an uncomfortable level during our stay. Udokul views them with such unabashed disdain and greed as to make their joy at such a union a farce. I will bring their proposals to the attention of the Sisterhood, though I know Felina’s answer before I even ask, she is of one mind with Aldirg, although it is clear that her opinions of the Bin-Kallic have softened his stance, there is no way she would ever agree to a pairing of one of our men with the Bin-Kallic now that their plan is made manifest.
I feel as though their plan removes the role of chance and destiny from our future and only time will tell if this will lead to our salvation or our destruction. Regardless, I have chosen to embrace this plan, and I will see it through, to whatever end it leads, the enemy would see our destiny in flames and I would not bet chance and destiny against it, we must have a plan.
