The horde was wavering in their determination, facing being split into three parts. Morale is coming off of the highs seen after the peace pact formed with the odd Bin-Kallic. Several clans join forces to help keep the tribe on a war footing. After a month of campaigning, Twin Peaks, Red Dove, New Moon, Hunting Owl, throw in their support of Longstrider; who, through a powerful oratory of their scion Aldirg, bring solidarity to the clans. With singular purpose, the horde determines that they will take the fight to the Thale. Over the next few months, plans are laid, while their conflict simmered on a low-level.
Preparations go well, with Red Dove coordinating the efforts of the clans to creating supply caches, innovation in weapons (including toxicology,) even impressing ever able bodied Kallic to the war-effort. Besides some minor accidents (pregnant women handling poison that caused miscarriages) the action is successful.
Finally, action is enacted. The tip of the spear was Clan Twin Peaks, armed with whatever the Bin-Kallic were able to excavate during the previous months. The legacy weapons and armor were hastily brought forth, some pieces didn’t receive much in the way of restoration. As the troops stream across the carefully plotted paths through the bogs, the enemy is encountered. The initial conflict goes favorable to the Kallic. Through the leadership of Lorku of New Moon the battle seems to be going well.
The Thale are unable to deal with the metal weapons and armor. The Clan Twin Peaks warriors push deep into the Thale center. Thale weapons shatter against the legacy armor or when parrying blows. After some stiff losses, the Thale center took flight, with the Clan Twin Peaks warriors in pursue. As they press deeper into the bog, the Thale resistance stiffens, beasts come flying out of the tree tops down among the ranks of the Kallic. Again, most of these are of the four-armed variety. Through swinging tree to tree, they are able to hit the Kallic from above. The flanks are in disarray. Women who were assisting the warriors are scoped up and taken prisoner. Warriors begin to leave their positions to attempt to rescue the women. The morale of the Kallic falters.
As the Kallic ranks are disrupted and the chance of victory slips from their grasp, Lorku announces a general retreat. The retreat becomes an unorganized flight. As the Thale begin to overrun the Kallic, the Twin Peak position is totally overwhelmed. Their warriors bravely fight back to back and they become surrounded. Options for survival start to thin. The warriors attempt to escape by diving into the bog. The weight of the legacy armor causes most of the remaining warriors to drown, with a mere handful able to survive. While the remaining Kallic flee the battle, the Thale get busy with stripping the fallen of their weapons and armor.

5pt Complication: Mistrust of the Bin-Kallic/New Moon Alliance (Uncommon, Moderate): Members of the Twin Peaks clan believe that the leaders of the of the Bin-Kallic and New Moon clan have collaborated to undo Clan Twin Peaks via sabotaging the Kallic initial offensive against the Thale. Twin Peak warriors were supplied sub-standard weapons and armor. Additionally, support of the other clans were cut at a critical part of the battle, leading to major losses of the Twin Peak spearhead.
