Population: All of the clans will need to track their population. While the diaspora is continuing, the growth rate of the clans is “capped” at 5% per year. Once the clans become settled, and/or are able to find resources, this rate will improve. Hostile neighbors can also cause an attrition to the player’s population. Absorption of Kallic splinter groups can increase this number without diluting the Kallic Heritage. Player’s people will gain benefits as their population grows. If the Population ever goes to zero, well, it would be bad….

Organization Type: The current player’s peoples start off with the designation of “Clan.” This structure can change and become more sophisticated as the community evolves. There are limitations and bonuses on various communities, discovered via the campaign.

Morale: As the players make it through the campaign, there are events that can raise or lower their clans Morale. Certain objectives cannot be completed by a clan if their Morale rating is too low. If their Morale ever reaches zero, then they disband and flee to join other clans.

Heritage: Currently, the clans of the horde are of pure Kallic descent. As they encounter other races, or absorb peoples into their social structure, this can change. All of the clans start at a 10, which is the highest rating, if any of the players’ Heritage rating goes to zero, their people are no longer considered Kallic, their rating is reset to 10 and they become a new race (and genetically incompatible with a pure 10 rated Kallic peoples group). As an example, the Bin-Kallic (if they are who they say they are) would be around a 1 or a 2. The infusion of the Kallic women would brought them up to a 4.
