Legacy of the Kallic Diaspora
Degana and Dekana Family Tree
*Our Lineage, as we trace our ancestry back to the All Khan and The Mother of Mothers:
The All Khan and the Mother of Mothers begat the twins Ahmik and Awenasa;
Ahmik and Awenasa begat the twins Moketoveto and Yoki;
Moketoveto and Yoki begat the twins Nawat and Kimiela;
Nawat and Kimiela begat the twins Helaku and Tala;
Helaku and Tala begat the twins Minok and Kayohko-Nq;
Minok and Kayohko-Nq begat the twins Axral the Just and Willow the Cursed;
Axral the Just and Willow the Cursed begat the twins Onaga the Ox and Aldra the Wise;
Onaga the Ox and Aldra the Wise begat Wida the Axe and Emerald Who Returned;
Wida the Axe and Emerald Who Returned begat the twins Degana and Dekana.*
The main oddity of this bloodline is that every 32 years, the twins of the previous generation give birth to a perfect set of identical twins – a boy and a girl. They grow up together or apart, but no matter what, for 9 generations, they have unfailingly found each other and given birth to twins in their 32 year. So, exactly every 32 years, this odd bloodline reproduces itself in an almost exact copy. The parents give birth to a healthy son and daughter, identical twins. And this pair will ultimately marry and give birth to an identical pair of twins, and so on. This has occurred unerringly for the past nine generations, all the way back to the first twins, the last two children born to the All-Khan and the Mother of Mothers. As they trace the heritage directly back to the last son and daughter, also twins, of the All-Khan and the Mother of Mothers, they have been natural leaders, known for their great patience.
As each generation has shown itself to be outstanding in some way, and the only death has been of Willow the Cursed, who died during a difficult child birth, this bloodline has a strong influence in the Kallic horde.
Of course, as strong blood descendants of the All-Khan, it is not unusual for this pair to become rulers in their own rights. Despite not having many of their own bloodline, they are able to easily call others to them, and have become strong clan chiefs in their own right.
The male descendants are typically strong warriors, while the females provide wise consul. This pairing makes them stronger than the sum of the parts. After giving birth, the parents typically raise the children closely, but once they have come of age, they are given much freedom.
The latest pair are Degana (male) and Dekana (female), now both 18 years of age.

Axral the Just and Willow the Cursed
Willow was always a bit unlucky and died during the birth of the twins. After her death, Axral went on to be a great ruler, and is still among the great war chiefs of the horde.
Onaga the Ox and Aldra the Wise
Strong as an Ox, Onaga is a strong warrior. He still leads many a battle, and is first of the responders, riding his terrifying war-dog into battle, with his huge club. Aldra is pursuing some current research into eugenics (improve the genetic features of Kallic populations through selective breeding and sterilization, based on the idea that it is possible to distinguish between superior and inferior elements of society). She is working with Kennel Masters on this.
Wida the Axe and Emerald Who Returned
Wida the Axe (named for his ability with the aforementioned) and Emerald Who Returned (named for her green eyes) were separated early during an attack by wild animals as small children. The boy was saved by his parents, and raised by them. The girl was lost. She did not die, and was raised in a different part of the horde. However, due to not having her soul mate, she never procreated and was finally cast out at the age of 30 (as she was considered an outcast anyway, and a burden, she was never fully accepted. Many thought her descended from the Husk.). She went to wander off on her own, and in a random scouting trip, she was discovered by her brother, huddled and alone. Realizing immediately who she was, the two reunited and fell in love. Thus they gave birth to their twins at the age of 32. They are now inseparable, and the mother often worries about her children, of which they have only the two currently (Degana and Dekana).
